You know what guys... due to the sharp- sharp cutoff nature to the northern edge of the expected snow, and the fact it'll likely be very close to the Ohio river, this loooks like it'll be more of a short term or even nowcasting event - again for the metro area - south of Louisville... it's gonna happen !!

I would have to agree after looking at a few maps that this is going to be a bust, would I be safe to say 1-2 inches along river and louisville area, 2-3 hardinsburg to e-town to bardstown. and then 3-4 munfordsville area?
So in other words no snowman, no sledding, no snowball fights? I am so sad and disappointed! Is there still any hope that we could get 3 to 6 in Meade County?
Hi Jacob...
first glance... I could see 1 inch near the river, 3 inches southwern Jeff Co. solid 3 to 6 Bullitt county South, very little north of Clark County, IN.
Oh yea... still a pretty decent chance for around 3 inches in Meade county... heavier though just south of you
Jay. the 12z nam just moved north again. Whats up with this? Also. How do you calculate snow totals by Ratio and precip per hour. Say likes .25 with 15-1 ratio. thanks u do a great job
Accuweather still has us in the spit middle of there latest map of heavy snow updates this AM http://www.accuweather.com/news-story.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&article=2
I know... I saw that about the NAM, and the H5 vort looks pretty strong and in a good spot. Thsi is likely to be a very sharp snowfall gradient with the gradient very near the Ohio River. UGGGHHHHHHH !!!!!
